Gentle Hatha morning yoga
This class is a gentle somatic form of Hatha Yoga focused on balance and alignment with emphasis on functional movement. Most of my group classes are based on the Feldenkrais method Awareness through Movement, sometimes also described as mindful movement, although this a yoga class I draw on my experience on the Feldenkrais method and combine it with a modern form of hatha yoga. I also offer one to one work using the Feldenkrais Method which can help with chronic aches and pain, injury recovery or general movement and postural work.
This class is available as a drop in class for £7.
The movements in the classes help students to discover easier and more efficient ways of moving, which can indirectly provide increased strength or range of movement without having worked to build muscles or to stretch them.
These classes can provide relief from muscular pain or tension and is particularly helpful in preventing recurring injuries caused by our habitual ways of moving.
TUESDAYS MORNINGS 9.30- 10.30am
This class is aimed at seniors and welcomes the complete novice too!
Whether you are a complete beginner or have been practising yoga for many years this class will provide you with a wonderful all round yoga practice that will revitalise and rejuvenate you and your body for the rest of the week.
My style is about finding an individual practice that will enable our bodies to fulfil all our daily requirements and allow us to maintain a full and mobile life well into our later years.All types of asana (posture), breathing, and relaxation practices are included and the class is suitable for all abilities.

My passion for yoga has taken me on an incredible journey inspiring a mere hobby to be evolved into a career as a yoga teacher. Trained via the CYS London, I have been teaching Hatha Raja yoga since 2008 with experience, Ashtanga, Iyenger, Power yoga and Vinayasa flow.I believe my students should never judge their practice. It is vital they enjoy themselves and use the experience from my classes as an opportunity to find their own personal power.
My yoga is thus very bespoke catered towards individuals at both a therapeutic and social level. Classes are multilingual, multicultural, mixed ability and for all age ranges.
Whether a beginner or intermediate, each of my students receive my personal care and attention and modifications are made accordingly.My classes aim to provide holistic benefits, uniting physical fitness (increased flexibility, improved immunity, increased vitality) with mental fitness (inner peace, stress relief, better intuition).I believe yoga teachers are examples of the yoga lifestyle to their students. I hope to facilitate my students’ deepening relationship with yoga through each class.
